·      Fees:   $160. per person payable to CCC (Chestermere Curling Club) plus a current CRCA membership $40. - single or $65. – family (payable to CRCA).  Existing teams continuing to play on the same night may Pre-Register at the Complex office during the summer.  We must receive payment for the entire team in full although cheques may be post-dated to Sept. 12th, 2007. Registration deadline is on Energize night Wednesday September 12th, 2007.  New teams will be put on a waiting list in the order they registered until the closing of Energize night once returning teams have been placed.  These prices include GST.

·      The first 16 returning teams Registered and Paid in Full will be accepted for each night, with the exception of Monday night Men's where the enrollment is 18 teams.

·      Curling will begin earlier this year with the Friday Open League draw Fri., Sept. 28th.  Evening curling leagues run as follows:  Monday night Men’s, Tuesday night Ladies, Wednesday and Thursday nights are two separate Mixed leagues, and the Friday Open League. In our MIXED LEAGUES; teams must consist of two male players and two female players in alternating positions.  In our OPEN LEAGUE; teams may consist of 4 men or 4 women or any combination of men or women.  Your Coordinator will contact you as to whether you will start with a 6:45 game or a 9:00 p.m. game.  There is a possibility of a Sunday evening league if numbers warrant this.  Let us know on Energize night or call one of the executive board members.

·      Everyone is welcome to Curl Thursday mornings at 10:00 a.m. with the Chestermere Whitecappers there is no charge for CCC members since they would have a Chestermere Community Membership and a nominal charge for those without. This is a drop-in format picking new teams each week.

·       The Junior Curling League will start on Jan. 6^th with a free curling clinic for instruction and will run Sunday afternoons with ice times 2:30 till 5:30 pm. Kids aged 7yrs through 16 years welcome, no previous experience necessary.  There will be instruction and game time for each of the levels of play.  There will be a sign up sheet at Energize Night and preference will be given to players returning from last year should we fill up.  Contact Marla (248-9438) for more information.  

·       We would like to stress that the first rock should be thrown at 6:45 p.m. to ensure an 8 end game can be played. All players must adhere to the buzzer rule, where you may finish the end you are on and only one more end after the buzzer has gone, this is the only way we can ensure the NIPPER can be run for the late draw. Your Chestermere Curling Club Board has requested that we NIP the late draw, so members are asked to stay out of the ice area until all sheets are prepared even if this pushes the late draw start time to 9:15 p.m. 

·       Playoffs: The Monday Men’s playoffs will be in a bonspiel format concluding on Mon. March 17^th, 2008.  The Ladies, Wednesday and Thursday Mixed, and the Friday Open League playoffs will be held on the last 3 consecutive regular league play nights in March 2008. 

·       A Free Beginner Curling Clinic is scheduled for Sun. Sept. 30^th 1-4pm.  It is free of charge and for adults only but you must sign up on Energize night or call Marla (248-9438), because we can only accept the first 32 people registered.

·       Our Curling Club will be hosting a casino March 11^th & 12^th, 2008.  Volunteers needed.

·       Our Club will be proudly hosting the Junior Girls Playdowns Nov. 30^th – Dec. 2^nd, 2007.

·       Our Windup Banquet will be held April 5^th, 2008.
